Students in Mount Vernon High’s STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) Design class were featured in the October issue of Virginia Living magazine.  As part of a feature on top high schools and colleges, the magazine did a short story on the grant-funded, six-week program that taught the students marketable skills as they designed and built electric guitars. It was also featured in a School News story in March.
